Topical corticosteroids (betamethasone, clobetasol) work by suppressing local immune response, reducing inflammation and scaling temporarily. Common Questions
Yes — and this is important. Stopping topical steroids abruptly can cause severe rebound flares (topical steroid withdrawal). Your doctor will create a supervised tapering plan while our protocol begins working systemically. You will not be asked to stop your steroids overnight.
