Menstrual Health — Women's Health care at Dr. Era Ayurveda

Menstrual Health · the Artava program

A cycle is a monthly report on your health.

Irregular, painful or heavy periods — worth reading properly.

Irregular, painful or heavy periods are signals, not inconveniences to be silenced. A cycle reflects hormonal and metabolic health month by month. Treatment works on the root — with doctor-prescribed medicine, diet and cycle tracking — so the cycle itself becomes the evidence of improvement.

What's actually happening

Understand before treating

Cycles that arrive unpredictably, pain that costs you days each month, or bleeding heavy enough to plan life around. Commonly normalised for years; none of it has to be.

A cycle is a monthly report on your health — worth reading properly.

How it’s assessed

Detailed cycle history, a Day-0 panel including the anaemia check that heavy bleeding makes essential, and structured tracking from the first month.

How it’s treated

Protocol matched to the pattern — regularity, pain, or flow — with diet and follow-up. Tracked monthly; reviewed with your doctor at Day 30 and Day 90.

An honest boundary

When this needs a different doctor

Bleeding between periods or after intimacy, severe anaemia, or sudden severe pain — referred promptly. Screening for these is built into Day 0.

The next step

How it's assessed

It starts with the Artava assessment — a few minutes of structured questions, no lab numbers needed. It doesn't diagnose; it tells you whether a clinical conversation is worth having, and a doctor decides everything after that.

If your answers point to something that needs a different doctor first, the assessment says so and routes you there instead of into a program. See what Artava does and doesn't treat →
